Tollie is a retired veteran of the South African Police Service, with 42 years of experience across various units, including General Detectives, Murder and Robbery, and, for the past 22 years, the SAPS Counter-Terrorism Section. Upon his retirement, he was serving as the National Section Commander for Counter-Terrorism Investigations at the Directorate for Priority Crimes Investigation (the HAWKS). Tollie was twice awarded the Police Silver Cross for Bravery in recognition of his efforts to prevent major terrorist attacks in South Africa.

enforcement liaison. He is a seasoned leader with strong cultural awareness and a proven ability
to develop and maintain strategic partnerships. Daniel consistently demonstrates high levels of
judgment in fast-paced work environments. He recently served as the Head of INTERPOL's
Regional Counter-Terrorism Nodes for Africa and Europe and is a former member of the
Australian Federal Police, with experience serving in Southeast Asia. Daniel holds Master’s
degree in Leadership (Policing and Security) and BA in Criminology.

Michael is known for his ability to build and strengthen critical liaison relationships across cultural and language barriers, with hands-on experience operating across five continents.

Maitseo Pelaelo is an aviation security expert with 25 years of experience across diverse operational environments. He has served with the Botswana Defence Force Air Arm, contributing to national security initiatives, and with the Botswana Civil Aviation Authority, where he focused on regulatory compliance and security oversight. His most recent role was in Somalia, where he worked under the US State Department’s Countering Terrorism Bureau assistance project, supporting the Somali Civil Aviation Authority’s capacity development in aviation security. In this capacity, Maitseo navigated complex security challenges in a high-risk environment. Peter Bach is a seasoned security expert with extensive experience in law enforcement, having served in the Special Mobile Custom Unit for Border Protection. Operating both at sea and on land, he worked to combat human trafficking, curb the flow of drugs, illegal weapons, and other contraband. Specializing in risk management and intelligence operations, Peter was also one of the first responders during the Westgate Shopping Mall Siege in Nairobi, a tragic terrorist attack that resulted in numerous casualties.
